Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) does not believe that his future opponent in the May 20 fight in Las Vegas Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) is already in the status of age boxers. An American compared a 35-year-old Ukrainian with his compatriot Terence Crawford.

Terence Crawford is older than Loma, is he old? No, Haney said. - Nobody says that he is old, so don't say that Loma is old. Did he suddenly grow old overnight?

Often referred to as the best fighter in the world regardless of weight class, Crawford is only a few months away from his 36th birthday. Yet, despite the years ticking by, Crawford seems to be at the top of his game. Lomachenko, on the other hand, is already largely considered a fighter in decline.

“When I win, I want everyone to give me credit,” concluded the 24-year-old undisputed lightweight champion.
