Croatian heavyweight Alain Babich (11-0, 10 KOs) spoke about the Briton Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs).
“I sparred with Joe Joyce, and with him we spent almost 25 rounds in three days. I rate him above everyone I have sparred with, and I have sparred with everyone. He doesn't look like he has a super power punch, but he has very heavy hands, he's a heavy guy, and he has the same motor as me. He doesn't stop, even though he's twice my size, that's crazy.
I put Joyce at the top of my list of the top two heavyweights. The fight against Joe will be the most difficult for anyone. I think that Joshua is very brave, since he decided to fight Joyce. I think Joyce is a dark horse in the heavyweight division. He is the toughest opponent for everyone, including Usyk and Fury, but I think Joe is the guy to be afraid of.
I felt his strength, we had crazy rounds. I think I did well and maybe even pulled out a few rounds, but sparring is my game. In sparring, I’m even better than in fights, ”talkSPORT quotes Babich.
