Interim WBO Welterweight Champion Tim Tszyu (22-0, 16 KOs) will have to wait a little longer to face Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs), a full-weight champion in the weight category up to 69 kg.

Originally scheduled for June, their duel will now take place no earlier than autumn. The American will need more time to recover from a hand injury. Tszyu has already stated that he is not going to rest and will have another fight in June.

The fight between Charlo and Tszyu was originally supposed to take place at the end of January, but the American was injured at the last stage of preparation. In addition to the WBO championship belt, Charlo also holds the WBC, WBA and IBF titles.
