Dariush named two fighters capable of defeating Makhachev

Top American UFC bantamweight Corey Sandhagen named the names of two fighters who have a good chance of defeating the champion of the lightweight division Islam Makhachev.

“I think Beneil Dariush will beat Makhachev. I sincerely believe that Beneil is one of the few guys in the division who can defeat Islam. I know that Gaethje is also in the title race, and he looks better with every fight. So I will choose these two guys. But what I really want to see is how Dariush fights for the title," the American said in an interview with James Lynch's YouTube channel.

Recall that on May 6 at UFC 288 Dariush will have to fight with Charles Oliveira. In case of victory, the American will most likely receive a title shot.
