Okoli defeated Light, retained the title

WBO heavyweight champion Lawrence Okoli (19-0, 14 KOs) won by unanimous decision over the previously undefeated mandatory challenger David Light (20-1, 12 KOs) in the main match of the evening at the AO Arena in Manchester. England. The taller Okoli kept Light at a distance and controlled the first rounds. Basically, the meeting was held in a viscous struggle with an abundance of clinches and a small number of clean hits. Judging scores: 116-112, 119-108 and 117-110.

"The grass grows, the paint dries, Okoli fights," another heavyweight champion Jai Opetaya commented on Okoli's victory.

Also that evening, 2020 Olympic heavyweight bronze medalist Fraser Clark (6-0, 5 KOs) beat Bogdan Dina (20-5, 16 KOs) twice until he refused to come out of the corner after the break.
