The famous Canelo will first have to deal with John Ryder (32-5, 18 KOs). The fight was officially announced for May 6 in Mexico. The local hero will defend his four belts in the weight limit up to 76.2 kg. But in the next fight with Bivol, the WBA champion, he will rise to the limit of 79.4 kg.
“I am not in the best shape after the operation and rehabilitation, but I am very motivated. I need to deal with Ryder first, but it's no secret that I'm most focused on the Bivol rematch.
