Jai Opetaya (22-0, 17 KOs) won a lawsuit against former D&L Events promoters and became a "free agent".

The IBF world champion and The Ring cruiserweight champion would like to return to the ring in the spring in Australia. The leadership of the International Boxing Federation should officially announce the start of negotiations on the duel between Opetaya and the mandatory challenger Mateusz Masternak (47-5, 31 KOs) April 1.
