Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) and Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) returned to negotiations on organizing a welterweight unification fight. The fight for the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC belts may take place in the fall in the United States.

Negotiations on this fight were held for several months last year, but in the end no agreement was reached. This time the boxers tried to discuss the terms of the fight in direct telephone conversations.

Before that, both fighters must fight one fight each. Crawford will hold a mandatory defense of the WBO belt and will meet with Alexis Rocha.

Spence, in turn, is set to fight this summer at welterweight. His opponent in this performance should be Keith Thurman.
