Shakur Stevenson And Vasily Lomachenko met by chance today at the Top Rank Boxing Gym in Las Vegas. The Ukrainian is preparing for a meeting with the undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney on May 20, which, however, has not yet been officially announced. Stevenson is gearing up for his lightweight debut against Shuichiro Yoshino. Their joint promoter Bob Arum has repeatedly stated that he plans to bring Shakur and Vasily together in the ring one day. Stevenson and Lomachenko sparred in 2017, when the Ukrainian was preparing for a fight against Guillermo Rigondeaux.
