Jones responded to criticism of his physical form (photo)

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion John Jones posted an appeal to fans who are dissatisfied with his physical form on the eve of the fight with Cyril Gan.

The fight between the American and the Frenchman will be the main event of the UFC 285 tournament, which will be held on the night of March 5 in Las Vegas. The winner will win the vacant belt in the heavyweight division.

“It’s great that we don’t have bodybuilding competitions! Now I am strong and explosive, like a lion. I can dry off before my next fight. The most important thing is that I weigh 250 pounds (114 kg) and move like a light heavyweight, ”the American wrote on Twitter.

Recall that the upcoming performance will be the first for Jones in the heavyweight division. The 35-year-old American has not appeared in the octagon for three years.
