Gvozdyk suggested when he could fight for the title

Former WBC World Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Gvozdyk believes that two fights will be enough for him to get another opportunity to fight for the title.

“It seems to me that maybe in two fights I will be ready to box for titles. But, firstly, we know that now there are only two champions and, probably, their schedule is already very tight.

So we'll see how it develops. My task is to train, box and wait for my chance to fight for the title," Gvozdyk said on the air of the Shipshina SHOW.

Recall that on February 11, Gvozdyk defeated Jose Obando by unanimous decision. For Alexander, this fight was the first since October 2019, when he lost ahead of schedule to the Russian Artur Beterbiev in unification for the WBC and IBF titles.
