Jack stopped Macabu

Former world champion in two weight categories badu jack (28-3-3, 17 KOs) scored an early victory in the twelfth round over Ilungoy Makabu (29-3, 25 KOs) and took away the WBC world heavyweight title from him as part of a boxing evening at the Diria Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Thus, 39-year-old Jack "The Ripper" became the world champion in his third weight category.

Jack sent Macaba to the floor in the fourth round and looked more convincing than his opponent. In the eleventh round, Makabu found himself on the floor again. In the twelfth, he missed an accurate blow, swam, lingered at the ropes under a series of Jack's blows, and the referee decided to stop the match.
