President of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine: "Putin is like Hitler"

Kirill Shevchenko, President of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine, spoke about the war between Ukraine and Russia. The functionary noted that the leader of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, is similar to Adolf Hitler in his habits.

“Today, February 24, 2023, exactly a year ago, all of Ukraine woke up to explosions in different parts of our state. A year ago, at 4:30 after the explosion in Boryspil, I realized that Putin, like Hitler, began to bomb my hometown and my country. Notice, like Hitler, at 4:30 in the morning in 1941. Only Germany was not a "brotherly people". Putin came up with a story that it was necessary to clear Ukraine of the Nazis, he thought that he would be met here with flowers. To his surprise, they were never expected here and never will be. From the very first day we gave them such a rebuff and we continue to smash these animals that have come to our land in all directions. A year of war has passed, and they have not been able to do anything, because they cannot break us. We are already winning and will soon end this war with our victory. Yes, we have won in boxing and will continue to win in the ring. We have become even stronger and more united. Yes, we pay a big price for our freedom and independence, but we have shown the whole world who we are and how we are fighting for our Ukraine and the whole world. The war showed us all who is who. All traitors and collaborators in our country will definitely be punished. The kingdom of heaven and eternal memory to all who laid down their lives defending our values. I am sure they are all in heaven and are watching from heaven as we rebuff these rashists. Victory is already close in all areas: at the front, in world politics and in sports. As Winston Churchill said: "Never give up - never, never, never, neither in the big, nor in the small, nor in the large-scale, nor in the small, never give up, if this does not contradict honor and common sense." Glory to Ukraine. Glory to heroes. Death to enemies," Shevchenko was quoted by the FBU Instagram account.
