Former WBA Welterweight World Champion Vyacheslav Senchenko spoke about the long-awaited duel between the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and British Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs).
- The contract for the fight for the absolute world champion between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury has not yet been signed. First, the date was called - by the beginning of March, then - by the end of April-beginning of May. And the other day Fury's team booked Wembley for April 29th. Do you think Tyson is deliberately delaying the signing? Playing his psychological games?
- I think, yes, Fury is pulling with the contract on purpose. I think he understands when there will be a battle, but he is deliberately delaying the signing of the agreement. Perhaps he expects Usyk to not train, but Usyk, as we all know, has been in the camp for a long time. Perhaps the British are really betting on the psychological factor, but for Usyk this will not be a problem. It won't work with him, I'm sure. I think Usyk's team understands all this, they are getting ready, I think it doesn't matter to them.
Is Fury the most uncomfortable opponent in Usyk's career? And Usyk is the most inconvenient in Fury's career?
— The fact that Usyk will be the most inconvenient for Fury, I am sure of it. The fact that the British will be the most inconvenient for the Ukrainian... probably, too. There will be inconvenience on both sides. Here the question will be who will prepare better, who will feel better physically, he will win.
