Eddie Hearn is one of the promoters with whom Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) is negotiating a contract. The former world heavyweight champion, according to media reports, is dissatisfied with the collaboration with Premier Boxing Champions.
“Right now, Wilder is exploring different possibilities and talking to different promoters. We also communicate with him. There is a possibility of signing him,” said the head of Matchroom Boxing in an interview with ID Boxing News.
The 37-year-old "Bronze Bomber" last fought in October, defeating Robert Helenius. Recently there have been rumors about his potential fight with Anthony Joshua, which could take place in the summer or later this year.
