George Kambosos Jr. (20-2, 10 KOs) and his team received a fight offer that could bring him back to prominence in Australia. We are talking about a possible collision with a countryman. The former WBA, IBF and WBO champion after two losses to Devin Haney cannot fall below a certain level, but last weekend Liam Wilson (11-2, 7 KOs) proved to be quite a strong opponent.

Wilson lost the championship fight to Emanuel Navarrete, but brought obvious problems to the favorite, sent him to the floor and put him on the verge of an early defeat in the fourth round. In the end, Liam lost, but left a good impression.

Wilson competes in the featherweight division (59 kg), while Kambosos competes in the lightweight division (61.2 kg). The difference is insignificant, both compatriots are going to return after defeats, so their meeting will benefit everyone. There are already those who are ready to spend as much as 2 million Australian dollars on fees for both boxers.

“We really want this fight. So the ball is in the side of Kambosos, ”said Steve Scanlan, Wilson's manager.
