American UFC lightweight Kevin Lee returns to the UFC a year and a half after being fired from the promotion. According to ESPN, the 30-year-old fighter signed an exclusive contract.
The former UFC interim lightweight title contender has reached an agreement following a face-to-face meeting with organization head Dana White and chief executive Hunter Campbell.
“I feel like I'm coming home. Grateful to them for taking me back and looking forward to the next chapter of my career,” Lee commented on his return.
Recall that after leaving the UFC, Lee joined the League of Khabib Nurmagomedov Eagle FC. Under the auspices of this promotion, the American performed once, defeating compatriot Diego Sanchez by unanimous decision in March last year.
