Former welterweight champion Kell Brook (40-3, 28 KOs) was caught using cocaine. And although Brook's manager, Terry Thompson, tried to turn everything into a joke, Brook himself decided to apologize for the incident.
“I admit that I made a mistake and I would like to apologize to my family, friends and fans. It's no secret to anyone that I'm struggling with mental problems and it's hard for me without a ring. I am actively seeking help to get me back on track. Once again, I apologize for the pain caused,” the Briton wrote on Twitter.
Brook last fought almost a year ago when he took out his eternal rival Amir Khan (34-6, 21 KOs), and recently expressed his desire to return to the ring for the winner of the fight Chris Eubank Jr. (32-3, 23 KOs) with Liam Smith (33-3-1, 20 KOs).
