George Ashey - Alexis Rocha

Alexis Rocha (22-1, 14 KOs) defeated George Ash (33-6-1, 25 KOs) by knockout in the seventh round in the main event of the Golden Boy Promotions evening in Inglewood, USA. At stake was the WBO NABO welterweight belt.

Ashy, 38, who took the fight shortly before it took place, was on the floor twice before the fight was stopped. For this performance, Rocha earned $300,000, while his opponent earned $35,000.

On the same evening, middleweight boxer Bektemir Melikuziev (11-1, 9 KOs) knocked out Ulises Sierra (17-3-2, 10 KOs) in the third round.
