Chris Eubank Jr. (32-2, 23 KOs) is side A in today's match with Liam Smith (32-3-1, 19 KOs). This is evidenced not only by the terms of the contract for their fight, but, above all, by the fees of both boxers.
The contract has a unilateral revenge clause, to which only Eubank is entitled in case of defeat. The contractual weight limit is also in favor of Chris - 159 pounds, which is only 0.45 kilograms below the average weight in which he has performed so far.
Both boxers have guaranteed amounts that they will earn per fight. Euchild Jr is guaranteed a £1 million payout plus 60% of PPV profits. Smith, on the other hand, is guaranteed half a million pounds plus a 40% profit on PPV revenue.
Preliminary projections, backed by market research, suggest final fees could be £2.4m for Eubank and £970,000 for Smith.
