Jose Carlos Ramirez (27-1, 17 KOs) and Richard Commey (30-4-1, 27 KOs) have reached an agreement and will meet on March 25 in Fresno, USA.
Ramirez, a former world super lightweight champion, pulled out of a fight with Regis Prograis for the WBC belt, citing an unsatisfactory section of the total fee, and opted to fight Commey, a former world lightweight champion.
A boxer from Ghana has already made his debut in the weight category up to 63.5 kilograms. At the end of August, he tied the fight with Jose Pedraza. Pedraza had previously fought the same Ramirez, but lost by unanimous decision of the judges: 116-112 on all three judges' notes.
