In April, a fight between the WBC, WBA and IBF world welterweight champion should take place in the USA Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) and former world champion Keith Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs). The fight will take place in the second welterweight limit and will be non-title.
This fight was originally scheduled to take place in February, but Spence's physical ailment forced the organizers to reschedule it to another time. In this fight, the belts of a 32-year-old boxer will not be at stake.
In his last professional appearance, Spence defeated Yordenis Ugas by TKO. Thurman returned to the ring in February after more than a two-year hiatus and won on points against Mario Barrios.
