Robert Garcia bets Ryan Garcia against Gervonta Davis

In April, in Las Vegas, boxing fans will find an interesting fight between Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) and regular WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26 KOs). Ryan pulled out of the January fight with Mercito Gesta, and Gervonta won ahead of schedule last Saturday against Hector Luis Garcia. Meanwhile, well-known coach Robert Garcia presented his prediction for the April mega fight.

“I thought that this fight would not last long, that the Tank would knock out Hector Garcia in two or three rounds. But Hector fought very well, blocked a lot of punches and hit back. He showed that he can count on big fights with the best in the future. We still need to know the details of the situation in which the fight ended, but Garcia could have been seriously injured, so his team probably made the right decision.”

Though their recent brief collaboration, culminating in Joshua's rematch against Usyk, has reportedly come to an end.
