Bellator welterweight champion Ukrainian Yaroslav Amosov congratulated his compatriots on the New Year.
"Hi all. Happy New Year. I wish that this year, in the near future, we will be told that peace has come to our country, and all people can return to their homes, celebrate, just be at home with their relatives, loved ones, friends.
I think this day will be the best for every Ukrainian. We believe in it and we know that it will be so. So Happy New Year everyone. Happiness, health, we are waiting for the best day for every Ukrainian,” Amosov said in a video posted on Instagram.
Recall that Amosov (26-0) will fight the interim champion of his division Logan Storley (14-1) on February 25 at the Bellator 291 tournament in Dublin. The fighters already met in a cage in November 2020, and then the Ukrainian won by a split decision.
