On Saturday, Tokyo will host a unification fight in the second flyweight division between the WBO world champion Kazuto Yokoi (29-2, 15 KOs) and WBA belt holder Joshua Franco (18-1-2, 8 KOs).
At the official weigh-in ceremony, the boxers met the established limit. Yoki's weight was 52.2 kg, Franco - exactly 52 kg.
Yoka has held the World Boxing Organization title for over three years and has defended it five times so far. The last time the Japanese boxed was in July, beating Donny Nietes on points.
Franco was recently scheduled to fight Juan Francisco Estrada. The last time the American boxed was in August last year.
