Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) is considered a very dangerous, but still little-known opponent, which is why other heavyweights try to avoid meeting him. Sam Bakole says he will be very happy to meet again with Michael Hunter (20-1-2, 14 KOs), which brought him the only defeat in his career so far.

In this case, Bakole could take revenge and at the same time take a place in Hunter's rating (WBA # 1). This would open the door for a fight with Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs), the owner of the regular WBA belt.

The Congolese defeated Olympic champion Tony Yoka in his last appearance in the ring. Earlier, he beat Mariusz Wach ahead of schedule. In anticipation of great trials, Bakole will be happy to settle accounts with the American. Moreover, I lost to him (TKO 10) mainly due to a shoulder injury.

“We will be very happy to meet in March in a rematch with Hunter, we have no problems with this. It is unlikely that anyone was ready to go to Paris and beat the Olympic champion, Martin deserves much more respect than he has received so far. The fight with Hunter will be the final eliminator for the fight with Dubois for the WBA belt. Once Martin sparred with him, and Dubois was helpless in these sparring matches. My boyfriend would have destroyed him,” said Billy Nelson, Bakole’s coach and manager.
