Stevenson currently doesn't know his next opponent after several names turned down the opportunity to face him in the WBC final eliminator.

“We were already looking for the best in lightweight, and in fact they already turned me down,” Stevenson said. - Guys like Isaac Cruz refused me. This is the best guy who fought Tank. It's really weird that they turned down a guy who never fought at 135 pounds. But what can we do, let's move on."

“I hope I don't have to wait too long. Maybe one fight and then a title fight. I would fight for the title in the next fight if I could. All the best opponents are busy now. Devin is going to fight Lomachenko. "Tank" has two battles ahead. Obviously, we cannot do these fights right now, so I will choose the next available option, ”Stevenson said.

At the moment, Lomachenko is preparing to fight Devin Haney for the undisputed crown. Regardless of the outcome of this fight, Haney will most likely move up to welterweight after this fight. Haney's departure will leave four vacant titles, and Stevenson believes he will take on Lomachenko for one of those belts.

“I will probably fight Lomachenko,” Stevenson added. - It can happen after he fights Haney. I think that we could fight with him. I know that Devin plans to move to 140 pounds. I will probably fight him for the vacant title. And then with Tank - that's who I would fight after Lomachenko, if I could choose my own opponents."
