UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski said that he was upset by the decision Zabita Magomedsharipova end a career.

“I was looking forward to our fight eventually taking place. I want big fights, and he was one step away from the title match. It would have been a big fight. So I was upset when I heard that he ended his career, ”Wolkanovski said on the Michael Bisping podcast.

Recall that Volkanovski in the next fight will meet with the lightweight division champion Islam Makhachev. The fighters will headline UFC 284 on February 12 in Perth, Australia.
