Oscar Rivas (28-1, 19 KOs) suffered an eye injury and will not be able to fight against Efe Ajagby (16-1, 13 KOs), originally scheduled for January 14. This was announced by the promoter of the Colombian boxer Yvon Michel. The duel was supposed to be part of the boxing evening organized in Verona.

The January performance was supposed to be a warm-up for Rivas before defending his WBC world title in bridge weight with Lukash Ruzhansky (14-0, 13 KOs). Recently, Yvon Michel announced that the duel with the Pole should take place on March 18 in Polish Rzeszow.

Rivas has not boxed since October last year. The duel with Ruzhansky has already been postponed several times. It was originally planned to organize this fight in Colombia, but over time, the fight for the World Boxing Council belt moved to Poland.
