Martin: "I won this fight"

Sandor Martin commented on his loss by split decision Teofimo Lopez: “I won this fight, I won this fight unequivocally. I only won two rounds against one of the judges, right? The referee did not count the [second] knockdown. I think it's a robbery."

Sandor Martin also commented on Teofimo Lopez's potential fight for the WBC super lightweight title: "Regis Prograis will kill him. Prograis will kill him, 100%."

Bob Arum, the promoter of the fight, also expressed his opinion about the Lopez-Martin fight: “The guy ran like a bandit, it’s hard to fight with him. And this referee, what fight did he watch? There was no [knockdown] in the second round, he slipped. I gave Teofimo every round."
