Anderson stopped Forrest in the second round

Undefeated American Heavyweight Jared "Real Big Baby" Anderson (13-0, 13 KOs) scored an early victory over Jerry "Slugger" Forrest (26-5-2, 20 KOs) in the second round on the undercard of the Lopez-Martin evening on Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York. Anderson did miss a few hits from Forrest at the beginning of the fight, but fully returned the debt to him towards the end of the first round. After a prolonged beating in the second round, the referee decided to stop the fight at 1:34.

Rising middleweight star Xander Zayas (15-0, 10 KOs) had to work harder than expected to take on the experienced Alexis Salazar (25-5, 10 KOs) in an eight-round bout. The score of the judges' notes 80-72, 79-73, 79-73 did not quite reflect the competitive fight that took place in the ring.

Olympic silver medalist Keyshawn Davis (7-0, 5 KOs) won by unanimous decision over three-time ex-world lightweight champion contender Juan Carlos Burgos (35-7-3, 21 KOs). Davis dominated the fight in his toughest challenge on paper to date. The score of the judges' notes - three times 80-72.
