“Berinchik should become world champion. He is already ready for this. Unfortunately, due to the war, we do not have the opportunity to do shows in Ukraine, so K2 Promotions is joining forces with Queensberry Promotions and will work to ensure that Denis gets this chance next year. I am sure that our cooperation will be fruitful!”, - said Alexander Krasyuk, CEO of K2 Promotions.

“I rejoice at the victory of Denis Berinchyk, who this Saturday received the European lightweight title in a duel with Mendy. He's been out of the ring for a year and it's hard to comprehend what he's been through given the invasion of his homeland," said Frank Warren, head of Queensberry Promotions, in an interview with Boxing Scene. “Despite certain difficulties with preparation, the Ukrainian has demonstrated his quality, and I am glad that we will cooperate with him to push him to the title of world champion next year.”

10 years ago Denis Berinchyk became a silver medalist at the Olympic Games in London. Last Saturday, he made his debut in the British ring already as a professional, as part of the Queensberry Promotions boxing show. Berinchyk (17-0, 9 KOs) scored a landslide unanimous decision victory over the experienced Frenchman Ivan Mendy (47-6-1, 22 KOs), depriving him of the European title. K2 Promotions co-organized this fight.
