Crawford: "I'm training like I'm going to fight King-King"

Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) is going to defend his WBO welterweight belt next Saturday against David Avanesyan (29-3-1, 17 KOs). The fight will take place in the United States in a paid broadcast on BLK Prime for $39.99. For this performance, the reigning world champion will receive $10 million. This is a huge amount, especially since Avanesyan is more famous in Europe than abroad. And even in Europe he does not have a star status.

“I went through a good camp. I had a few guys who helped me a lot and it was one of the best prep camps of my career. I want to show my best side to my fans in Omaha, because they supported me from the very beginning of my career. Avanesyan is a strong fighter with a good winning streak. He beat Josh Kelly, who was considered by some to be a star, so I trained like I was going to face King Kong. He has nothing to lose, he can only gain and give everything for the sake of victory. I expect the best version of him, and this is what I strive for, ”Crawford said.
