Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jiri Prochazka outlined the approximate dates for his return to the octagon.

Recall that the Czech received a serious shoulder injury a few weeks before the fight with Glover Teixeira at UFC 282 and decided to give up the belt. At the tournament on December 11, Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev will compete for the vacant title.

"I don't think I'm on a break. Every day I am focused on my rehabilitation. I am 30 years old, my best years are yet to come. I want to learn, absorb everything new, master new techniques and move forward.

The UFC was afraid that I would be gone for 9-12 months. After consulting with surgeons and experts, I realized that I could have my next fight in six months. In a maximum of seven months, ”the Czech edition of iDNES quotes Prochazka.
