Mayweather is ready to pay 2 billion for the NBA team

Legendary Floyd Mayweather wants to buy an NBA team for $2 billion.

“I'm working on buying an NBA team. I am in touch with one of my business partners, Brett Johnson. It is not easy, but we have been moving in this direction for some time. There is an option to open a franchise in Vegas or Seattle or buy an already existing NBA club. We have already offered the owner of one of the teams just over $2 billion for a controlling stake. Do I have that kind of money? Of course".

Recall that Mayweather had his last official fight in 2017, defeating Conor McGregor.
