Montana lost to Spark by disqualification

Montana Love (18-1-1, 9 KOs) lost by disqualification in the sixth round Steve Spark (16-2, 14 KOs) in the main event of the evening in Cleveland, USA. At stake in the meeting was the belt of the WBA Intercontinental Super Lightweight Champion.

The American was disqualified after he threw his opponent through the ropes, pushing him out of the ring. Montana was counted down in the second round after a series of clean punches from the Australian, who scored his fourth victory this year.
