Former world champion in four weight categories Roy Jones Jr. commented on the failure of the duel between the British heavyweights Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 23 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).

“I'm glad the fight didn't happen because I don't think Joshua is ready for it right now. Give him a chance to be himself, to be the best Anthony Joshua. And then he can fight Fury. Fury is one of those guys you can't beat unless you're at your best.

You have to jump above your head, do you understand what I mean? You can't agree to a fight with Fury after a defeat. It's like disrespect because Fury is too good. Therefore, I am glad that Joshua did not meet with him, ”said the American in an interview with the iFL TV YouTube channel.
