Morrell knocked out Yerbosynuly, defended his WBA title

Undefeated WBA "regular" super middleweight champion David Morrell Jr. (8-0, 7 KOs) scored an early victory in the twelfth round over a previously undefeated mandatory challenger Aidos Yerbosynuly (16-1, 11 KOs) in Saturday Night's main event at the Armory Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Morrell showed himself well both in attack and in defense. He confidently dealt with the extremely staunch Yerbosynuly, who tirelessly walked forward and continued to fight bravely. Morrell finally managed to send Yerbosynuly to the floor in the final round and then get stopped by another knockdown. The time to stop the fight is 2:34.
