AKA gym head coach Javier Mendez spoke about the strict discipline that the former UFC lightweight champion maintains in his team Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“If Khabib realizes that his fighters are tired, he introduces a kind of curfew for them and takes their phones away. I saw him do it at 10 or 11 p.m. And he has a prison at home, in which he puts them when they go astray.

Khabib takes away their phones and arranges house arrest. He is very strict. And if you go beyond what is permitted, he severely suppresses it, because his father did it, ”Mendes said in an interview with The Schmozone.

Recall that Nurmagomedov retired in October 2020.
