Rakhmonov appreciated the prospects of Makhachev

Welterweight from the UFC top ten Shavkat Rakhmonov assessed the prospects of the newly-baked champion of the promotion in lightweight Islam Makhachev.

“Islam is very good, and it seems to me that it will hold the belt for a long time. Until he leaves. In the future, if there is an opportunity, of course, it would be interesting for me to work with them, because they have a very good school.”

Recall that Makhachev won the championship belt at UFC 280, ahead of schedule by defeating Charles Oliveira.
