Lomachenko beats Ortiz on points

Undefeated lightweight Jamaine "The Technician" Ortiz (16-1-1, 8 KOs) almost ruined the long-awaited return to the ring of former three-division world champion Vasily "Loma" Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) in the main event of the evening in front of 4586 spectators Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. Ortiz caused the 25-1 favorite serious problems thanks to his speed and mobility. But Lomachenko pulled himself together at the end of the fight and won with a score of 115-113, 116-112 and 117-111.
