Former UFC champion in two weight divisions Conor McGregor made another statement about his return to the octagon.
Recall, earlier it became known that McGregor left the USADA anti-doping agent pool. This means the 34-year-old Irishman will have to undergo a six-month test and pass at least two negative tests before he is allowed to return to the octagon.
"I'll be back soon. Hopefully, at the beginning of 2023 - somewhere in the first quarter. A couple more months and I'll be ready to start training camp. I predict the future - it has gold in it," McGregor tweeted.
McGregor hasn't been in a cage since last July, when he broke his leg in the first round against Dustin Poirier. In that meeting, he was awarded a defeat by technical knockout.
