O'Malley: "Sooner or later I'll be a champion"

American UFC bantamweight fighter Sean O'Malley after defeating Petr Yan expressed his confidence that he would one day win the promotion's championship belt.

“Will I become a champion? It's unavoidable. This Sunday I turn 28 and I will fight for a long time. The fans want me to become a champion. Sooner or later it will happen,” the American said at a press conference.

Recall that on October 22 at the UFC 280 tournament in Abu Dhabi, UAE, O'Malley defeated Jan by a split decision.
