Ozdemir intends to knock out Krylov in the first round

Former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Volkan Ozdemir spoke about the upcoming fight with Nikita Krylov.

“I think he will be standing for a while, but as soon as he feels comfortable, he will try to surprise me and bring me to the ground. Part of his plan for the fight is probably to pin me to the net and load my arms, but this fight won't last more than one round.

It's going to be fireworks, I'm going to knock him out in the first round. I need some big wins to get a title shot, so I'm planning on putting on a spectacular performance," the Swiss told Just Scrap Radio in an interview.

The fight between Ozdemir and Krylov will take place on October 22 at the UFC 280 tournament in Abu Dhabi.
