Shields-Marshall rematch in the US this spring?

In the spring in the US, Claressa Shields (13-0, 2 KOs) may have a rematch with Savannah Marshall (12-1, 10 KOs). The contract for the first fight of the boxers included a clause on revenge, but the conditions for its launch are still unknown.

A British and an American crossed gloves this Saturday in London. Shields won by unanimous decision, unifying the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC middleweight belts.

“We had a clause in the contract about revenge if the verdict was controversial. The decision of the judges was unanimous, but if the fans want to see it again, I will be ready," Shields said.

A year ago, Claressa Shields signed a three-fight contract with the promotional organization Boxxer. To complete the $1 million contract, she had one more professional performance to go.
