Arum Explains Why Fury vs Joshua Fight Hasn't Happened Until Now

Bob Arum, co-promoter of the WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury (32-0-123 KO), spoke about the helicopter battle with Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs). He noted that it was all about the British team.

“Eddie Hearn is slowing everything down because he doesn’t want the fight to happen. Why doesn't he want it? Because Joshua has lost three of his last five fights. And he will lose again if he fights Tyson Fury, so Hearn is an obstacle. I don't know of any issues, he sends a draft contract, Fury's team responds, and then we don't hear from Eddie for days. It will stall until the negotiations come to naught," Arum was quoted as saying by talkSPORT.

Recall that in his last fight, Joshua lost by decision to Oleksandr Usyk.
