Neri destroyed Carmona in the third round

Former two-weight world champion and current WBC No. 1 bantamweight champion Louis "Panther" Nery (33-1, 25 KOs) scored an early victory in the third round over David "North" Carmona (22-11-5, 9 KOs) in the main bout of the evening in Tijuana, Mexico. Neri was able to send Carmona to the floor once in the second round and twice in the third until the fight was stopped.

On the undercard, 42-year-old female ring legend "Aztec Princess" Jacky Nava (40-4-4, 16 KOs) ended her illustrious career with a unanimous decision victory over Gloria Elena Yancakeo (10-12-3, 3 KOs) in a fight that took place in the bantamweight division. Judging score: 98-92 and twice 97-93.
