Muhammad Ali drawings to be auctioned

As Ali's Parkinson's disease progressed over the years, he used drawing as therapy, working with crayon or pen to dot the paper to form an image. Some of the works are dated, spanning several decades, and signed.

The artworks are being sold individually on TMN Auctions, where fans of Muhammad Ali will have the opportunity to bid and own the artworks starting later this month.

The drawings are being sold by Harlan Werner, Ali's former advertising agent, who decided it was time for fans to get a chance to own the collection.

Today, October 1, also marks the 47th anniversary of the 1975 Thrilla in Manila fight, the third and final fight between Muhammad and Joe Frazier in the Philippines.
