Negotiations on the fight of the WBO world champion Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) with IBF, WBC and WBA champion Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs), which was tentatively scheduled for November 19, faced certain difficulties.
Crawford has allegedly agreed to a smaller share of the profits, but is demanding "transparency in the distribution of interest" and covering uncertain costs associated with his performance. In this situation, according to media reports, the fight is in serious danger of failure and can now take place no earlier than December or January.
In April this year, Errol Spence Jr. defeated WBA world champion Yordenis Ugas and currently has three championship belts.
Terence Crawford, on the other hand, last November defeated former world champion Shawn Porter in his last fight to defend his title.
