Usyk: Fury is afraid of me

Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) in an interview published on the USYK17 channel commented on the information about a possible fight between Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).

“If they sign contracts, they will beat each other a little, but still everyone is waiting for the Usyk-Fury fight for the title of absolute championship, there has not been such a heavyweight fight for a long time,” said the WBA, WBO and IBF champion.

“It seems to me that although Fury is called such a tough guy, he is afraid of me,” Usyk added.

When asked who he prefers in Fury vs. Joshua, the Ukrainian replied: “I won’t support anyone, I won’t even watch this fight... No, of course I’m joking. I'll probably go see them fight live there. But I don't think much about them. I think about my children, hugging and kissing them - that's what I think about.
